Honda In-Car Wireless Charging

Honda provides an optional wireless charging pad located in the centre console for the Civic and Accord models and as a standard feature on the Elite model of the 2019 Pilot. The wireless charging pad is standard equipment featured within the centre armrest storage area on the Odyssey model.

HOW TO USE WIRELESS CHARGING IN YOUR HONDA

Honda’s wireless charging solution can be turned on and off by a power button, the green light will indicate the system is on and ready to be used. When a device is placed on the unit the amber light will illuminate indicating that charging is in progress. You may need to adjust the position of your phone for the charging coils to be aligned. Once charging is complete and the battery has reached 100%, the green light will illuminate again. Before using the wireless charger always make sure the charging pad is clear of other objects especially metallic items.

 

iPHONE WIRELESS CHARGING IN YOUR HONDA - COMPATIBILITY

The charger is compatible with the universal Qi standard. All Qi-enabled smartphones including the iPhone 8 and iPhone X can be charged directly from the charging mat, except for larger phablet size devices like the iPhone 8 Plus and Samsung S8 Plus which may not fit.

Apple iPhone models prior to the iPhone 8 will need a wireless charging accessory like the Aircharge ‘Made for iPhone’ Wireless Charging Case to enable the device to work with Qi chargers.
