Buick In-Car Wireless Charging

 

Buick first included Qi wireless charging in the 2018 Enclave Avenir model and have since expanded this as standard or optional equipment on several other models. The wireless charging solution consists of a Qi-enabled angled tray located in the centre console below the infotainment display.

HOW TO USE WIRELESS CHARGING IN YOUR BUICK

To charge your Qi-compatible smartphone, simply place the device face up on the charging tray. Charging will start automatically.

iPHONE WIRELESS CHARGING IN YOUR BUICK - COMPATIBILITY

The 2018 Buick charging solution is compatible with the universal Qi standard. All Qi-enabled smartphones including the iPhone 8 and iPhone X can be charged directly from the charger. Larger phablet size devices like the iPhone 8 Plus or Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus may not fit in the tray phone holder solution. For iPhone X, 8 and 8 Plus model compatibility in 2017 range and earlier models please visit Apple Support here.

Apple iPhone models prior to the iPhone 8 will require a wireless charging accessory like the Aircharge 'Made for iPhone' Wireless Charging Case to enable the device to work with Qi chargers.
