It’s that time of the year again, Autumn, when Apple releases the next generation of iPhone, and this year they did not disappoint with the iPhone 13 and 13 Pro, debuting the brand new A15 chip, impressive new displays with pro motion, upgraded cameras with new cinematic video mode, and of course, wireless charging.
It’s no surprise to see Wireless Charging built integrated into the latest iPhone, with it being present in every generation since it was first introduced in the iPhone 8 and iPhone X back in 2017. And with the success of MagSafe wireless charging that was introduced in last years iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro series, powering iPhones at up to 15W, it’s only right for Apple to continue adding more products to the MagSafe compatibility list.
Furthermore, the continuation of support for 5G and native built-in NFC tag reading symbolises the next generation of how we interact as customers, with more and more businesses utilising Aircharge+ contactless solutions such as digital ordering systems in the Food and Beverage sector, desk booking systems in the workplace and guest services in the hospitality industry. By enabling easier and quicker access to these solutions, Apple is among many other companies paving the way and supporting our vision for a contactless future.
