Lexus In-Car Wireless Charging

Lexus offers in-car phone wireless charging as standard on several models. There are two different wireless charging solutions available depending on the car model, both of which work in a similar way. The first is a wireless charging station located inside the central armrest. The second is a wireless charging tray located below the infotainment system on the dashboard.

HOW TO USE WIRELESS CHARGING IN YOUR LEXUS

To charge, press the Qi wireless charger switch and place your smartphone on the pad, making sure there is nothing between your phone and the bottom of the tray. An indicator light will activate when charging is in progress.

 

 

iPHONE WIRELESS CHARGING IN YOUR LEXUS - COMPATIBILITY

The charger is compatible with the universal Qi standard. All Qi-enabled smartphones including the iPhone 8 and iPhone X can be charged directly from the charging mat, however larger phablet size devices like the iPhone 8 Plus and Samsung S8 Plus won’t fit.

Apple iPhone models prior to the iPhone 8 will need a wireless charging accessory such as the Aircharge ‘Made for iPhone’ Wireless Charging Case to enable the device to work with Qi chargers.
