Samsung confirmed both smartphone models will feature wireless and reverse charging
South Korean handset manufacturer Samsung has announced today the launch of the new Galaxy Note 10 and its larger version the Note 10+. Both handsets will include Qi-Certified wireless charging as a convenient feature enabling users to place their phone on charge on a wireleess charging pad or stand without the hassle of tangled cables. In addtion to the traditional inductive charging feature, the Note 10 and 10+ also come with PowerShare, allowing to transfer device-to-device power with other Qi enabled devices without the need for a charger.
Approaching its 9th year of production the Note has featured wireless charging in earlier models and has been present for 6 generations, first introduced in the Galaxy Note 4 in 2014. Wireless charging has been a recurrent features in all the Galaxy S model since the S5 and more recently has appeared in the wireless earphones Galaxy Buds, smartwatch Galaxy Watch Active and new foldable concept the Galaxy Fold.
The Galaxy Note 10 and 10+ are both fully compatible with Aircharge range of accessories for the home and can be powered up at any of the 5,000+ public locations offering free Aircharge wireless charging.
