2018 Chevrolet vehicles equipped for wireless charging feature a rubberised charging mat, conveniently located on or around the centre console, armrest or rear seat area. HOW TO USE WIRELESS CHARGING IN YOUR CHEVROLET

Before using the wireless charger, make sure the charging mat is clear of all other objects and your vehicle is turned on, in accessory mode or using the Retained accessory power. Once your device is placed on the mat, the phone charging icon will appear near the phone graphic on the vehicle center touch screen. You may need to adjust the position of your phone for the charging coils to be aligned.

 

iPHONE WIRELESS CHARGING IN YOUR CHEVROLET - COMPATIBILITY

The charger is compatible with the universal Qi standard. All Qi-enabled smartphones including the iPhone 8 and iPhone X can be charged directly from the charging mat, although larger phablet size devices like the iPhone 8 Plus and Samsung S8 Plus may not fit. Apple iPhone models prior to the iPhone 8 will need a wireless charging accessory, and Chevrolet recommends the Aircharge range of ‘Made for iPhone’ Wireless Charging Cases to enable these devices to work with Qi chargers.
