Mini In-Car Wireless Charging
Being part of the BMW Group, Mini offers the same in-car phone wireless charging solution as seen in BMW models, consisting of a Qi wireless charging tray located under the armrest. The system is currently available as an option on the following models.

HOW TO USE WIRELESS CHARGING IN YOUR MINI
To charge off the wireless charging tray solution, simply place the device on the charger face up. The tray is adjustable in length however larger devices won't fit in this solution. Once the device is set on the tray, the blue light will illuminate indicating that charging is in process.
iPHONE WIRELESS CHARGING IN YOUR MINI - COMPATIBILITY
Mini’s charging solutions is compatible with the universal Qi standard. All Qi-enabled smartphones including the iPhone 8 and iPhone X can be charged directly from the charger, however larger phablet size devices like the iPhone 8 Plus and Samsung S8 Plus which won't fit in the charging tray.
Apple iPhone models prior to the iPhone 8 will need a wireless charging accessory like the Aircharge 'Made for iPhone' Wireless Charging Case to enable the device to work with Qi chargers.
